Doctor Tran Nguyen Giap is a leading expert in the field of plastic surgery aesthetic in Vietnam, with more than 15 year experience and academic foundation solid. He graduated as a General Practitioner from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City and continued to specialize in ENT, Plastic Surgery, Microsurgery and Flaps. During her career, dr. Nguyen Giap was constantly raise the level of expertise through the training program international reputation.
In 2013, Dr. Nguyen Giap completed his internship program with Professor William H. Truswell in Massachusetts, USA, President of the American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). Here, he researched and developed the Three Crescent Incisions facelift surgery method, which helps bring optimal results without leaving unsightly scars for patients.
Academic Journey and Professional Development
Continuing his learning journey, in 2014, Dr. Nguyen Giap continued his training with Professor Dr. Albert Fox in Massachusetts, USA, a leading expert in facial plastic surgery. With the support of Professor Fox, Dr. Nguyen Giap conducted research on 3,000 patients and published the Crescent Moon facelift surgery method, bringing outstanding results and safety to patients.
In 2016, Dr. Nguyen Giap continued to expand his professional knowledge when studying with Dr. Ki Su Jung, a leading expert in liposuction and fat grafting surgery in Korea. At the conference, he reported on the topic "Rejuvenating fat grafting for the elderly", contributing to improving the quality of cosmetic services in Vietnam.
2018, doctor Nguyen Giap graduated therapist I specialized reconstructive Surgery, aesthetics at the University of Medicine Pham Ngoc Thach. In 2019, he was president of the Association of Surgical Training Aesthetic awarded honors for outstanding contributions to the industry of plastic Surgery and aesthetics of the face.
Year 2022, doctor Nguyen Giap is honored to be reported at the Celebration of 15 years of establishment Society for Aesthetic plastic Surgery ho chi minh CITY.CITY (2007-2022), combining Scientific conference annual international VSAPS 5th, with the theme “Evaluation of the results the skin surface between the lower face surgically cut hanging SMAS”.
Date 8/3/2023, doctor Nguyen Giap was given a scholarship to the student, Faculty of Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy ho chi minh CITY.CITY spirit, support and encourage the generation of future doctors. This is an annual activity of he aimed to extra motivation for medical students.
Months 5/2023, doctor Nguyen Giap honor to become director KCCS in Vietnam, expanding the network of international cooperation in the field of cosmetic surgery. The same year, he continues to be reported at Scientific conferences Ear, Nose and Throat and head and neck Surgery ASEAN 20 – th Scientific conference of otolaryngology and head and neck Surgery, nationwide 26th.
Months 2/2024, doctor Nguyen Giap became the official Doctor CKII reconstructive Surgery Aesthetic with the topic: “the skin surface between the lower face surgically cut hanging SMAS”. Months 3/2024, he was honored to become a member of the Association of cosmetic Surgery United States (ASPS), cosmetic organizer prestigious in the world. Doctor Nguyen Giap always hard to join the seminars and conferences in and outside the country (United States, south Korea,...) to learn more knowledge, technology updates and exchange experiences with leading experts in the field of cosmetology.
Date 15/05/2024, doctor Tran Nguyen Giap was ASSOC. TS. BS Nguyen Thanh Hiep, rector of the University of Medicine Pham Ngoc Thach, provided by Specialist Level II, specialized plastic Surgery Aesthetic (Decision no. 1560/QD-TĐHYKPNT day 14/05/2024).
2025 – milestone breakthrough in the academic and professional
With a constant desire to improve his knowledge, in 2025, Dr. Tran Nguyen Giap was honored to receive a scholarship to participate in the Leadership in Medicine - SLP (Safety, Leadership & Practice) program at Harvard University - one of the prestigious programs exclusively for global medical professionals with outstanding achievements.
